Exciting news for gamers, as the double XP weekend for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been prolonged. If you’re engaging in prestige levels in the newly launched Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you’re in for a treat. The ongoing event featuring 2XP, 2X Weapon XP, and 2X GobbleGum earn rates will now continue through November 5.
The developer, Treyarch, announced on X / Twitter that a fix has been implemented for an issue that occasionally reduced the amount of 2XP received by certain players. Consequently, the period of bonus experience will be expanded until 10:00 PT / 18:00 GMT on Tuesday. While it’s regrettable that some players faced these complications, this extension is excellent for those who weren’t affected.
The double XP event commenced on November 1, aligning with the introduction of the Nuketown 24/7 playlist, which brought back the beloved Nuketown map. Over the weekend, I took full advantage of the bonus XP to enhance my level and am now just a few games away from attaining the second prestige. With the event's prolongation, I shouldn’t struggle to reach the necessary level when I log in later tonight.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 made its debut on October 25, achieving a remarkable milestone as the largest launch ever in the franchise. After putting in numerous hours since its release, I awarded the game an impressive four and a half stars in my review. It was characterized as an exceptional first-person shooter that presents an exhilarating campaign complemented by some of the finest graphics available today.
