The popular sandbox video game Minecraft has released a new patch for its Nintendo Switch version, Version 1.19.60, which brings improvements to the remote system as well as other tweaks and bug fixes. Unfortunately, it appears that some players are now experiencing issues with the game after downloading this update – they are getting stuck on the loading screen at 66%.
Reports of these issues have been raised by several players on Mojang’s support page. Initially, Mojang believed that these had been resolved, but continued reports of freezing prompted them to reopen the issue and look into possible solutions further. They tweeted an apology to affected customers for any inconvenience caused due to this problem.
As reported by Nintendo Life, Switch owners who experience this issue will likely be unable to play until a fix is implemented. It is not yet known what could be causing this particular problem or when it might be fixed, but Mojang has indicated that they are actively looking into it and hope to resolve it quickly so players can get back in-game soon.
While there is no definite solution yet, some users have suggested trying different methods, such as deleting unnecessary files from their console or reinstalling the game completely in order to clear up potential errors or glitches that could be causing them trouble here –- though neither of these approaches has officially been endorsed by Mojang yet as viable solutions for this issue at the present time.
Conclusion
All in all, while Minecraft’s latest Switch update may bring some improvements and fixes with it, unfortunately, there also appears to be an unforeseen side effect of freezing the game during loading screens at 66%. Thankfully, however, Mojang seems dedicated to resolving this issue swiftly, so hopefully, those who experience difficulty here will find a satisfactory resolution soon enough!
