Five Nights at Freddy's

"Five Nights at Freddy's" follows the generally accepted construction of classic horror: the main character is suddenly left alone in a closed room, where the situation is so frightening that almost every little thing seems to be a threat.

The place of action is a pizzeria, and the main character is its night watchman. Following the idea of the movie "Night at the Museum", toys that entertain diner visitors in the light of day come to life at night and try to get to the player. Using all the available equipment, we need to resist them and survive until dawn.

Graphic design

Graphics are not what "Five Nights at Freddy's" can boast of: on the screen, the player is shown only one picture with a minimum number of interactive elements with which to interact — a couple of switches, no more.

But the beauty lies in the voice acting and the atmosphere being overtaken — such a frightening effect is created that goosebumps involuntarily go all over the body. And besides, screamers occasionally appear — from the sight of a suddenly appeared toy, it is quite possible to burden the floor of the room with bricks.

Gameplay

The strangest aspect in "Five Nights At Freddy's" is not even the atmosphere that scares the hell out of you, it's the gameplay itself, not everyone can figure out the principle of which from the first time. At first glance, the gameplay is quite simple — know yourself and close the doors on the left and right to keep the revived monsters from coming to you. To determine where the enemies will come from, you can periodically turn on the lights and use the camera system installed throughout the institution.

However, the situation is complicated by the fact that only one input is available for review — you simply do not have time to follow the second one. Therefore, it remains to rely only on your senses — watch for suspicious silhouettes and listen to the sounds of footsteps, preferably with headphones.

In addition, the cameras sometimes stop working because of the actions of those toys, and the energy is not infinite: constantly keeping the doors closed and the lights on is not the best idea if you want to survive five nights.

Don't forget for a second that "Five Nights at Freddy's" is a pure-blooded horror - as soon as you relax, a toy bear will bark in your face, or somewhere in the distance you will hear a sad singing, from which the soul will go away. But there is no complete salvation from such creatures because the most important factor of survival in a pizzeria is banal luck. The result of the confrontation with toys mostly depends on luck, not on your level of play.

Summing up

A very strange game "Five Nights at Freddy's". It can hardly be called a full-fledged game — what kind of thing is this in which little depends on the player? However, "Five Nights at Freddy's" copes with its main task with a bang — it catches up with an unimaginably scary atmosphere, seriously tickles the nerves, and scares the hell out of every gaming second. So if someone is not satisfied with a peaceful and peaceful life, after a couple of hours of "Five Nights at Freddy's" it will be the most desirable.
